Competition will be in two stages:

1.

SECTIONAL QUALIFYING – 18 holes of stroke play for all players except those exempt on Sunday April 27, 2008 at selected courses throughout Ontario.

NOTE: There are no official practice rounds arranged by the GAO at qualifying sites.

2.
|
CHAMPIONSHIP – 60 players eligible, including those exempt comprised of 51 Junior Boys and 9 Junior Girls - 54 holes of stroke play for all players.

|
|
Saturday May 17 - First Round, 18 Holes
|
|
|
|
Sunday May 18 – Second Round, 18 Holes
|
|
|
|
Monday May 19 – Final Round, 18 Holes
|
|
|
|
Lowest Junior Boy scorer for 54 holes will be champion. In the event of a tie for the championship, the winner will be determined by a hole-by-hole sudden death playoff. The playoff holes and their order of play will be determined by the GAO and announced prior to the completion of the championship.
