Competition will be in three stages:

1.

SECTIONAL QUALIFYING – 18 holes of stroke play for all players except those exempt on Monday, June 2, 2008. There are two alternate qualifying dates: May 26 at Timber Ridge Golf Club and May 29 at Blue Mountain Golf Club.

NOTE:  There are no official practice rounds arranged by the GAO at qualifying sites.

2.

FINAL QUALIFYING – 18 holes of stroke play for a percentage of players who missed qualifying directly to the championship on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Summit Golf and Country Club.

NOTE:  There is no official practice round arranged by the GAO at qualifying sites.

3.

CHAMPIONSHIP – 156 players eligible, including those exempt. 36-holes of stroke play for all players to determine the low 60 players and ties for an additional 36 holes of stroke play.

Tuesday July 8 – First Round, 18 Holes

Wednesday July 9 – Second Round, 18 Holes

Thursday July 10 – Third Round, 18 Holes

Friday July 11 – Final Round, 18 Holes

Lowest scorer for 72 Holes will be champion.  In the event of a tie for the championship, the winner will be determined by a hole-by-hole sudden death playoff. The playoff holes and their order of play will be determined by the GAO and announced prior to the completion of the championship.
